*First Day Fundrive Donor Match Was Met! Larry’s $500 was passed mid-afternoon, thanks Larry and donors (ding, ding that cowbell)!
We’ve got two+ weeks of special, creative, surprising, and delightful programming for the Fall Fundrive, October 4-20. This is when our programmers go above and beyond, try new things, bring in special guests, live music fills the airwaves, and we even add extra shows. We have a little of everything and we hope you enjoy it. Click through to catch the line up. Thanks for tuning in and giving by October 20 to help us hit that $15,000 goal!
Here at CVCR, every fundrive donor is a winner in our books. By giving before October 20 to the fundrive, many of you, will actually win something too! It just makes it more fun and it is another way we try to show our gratitude to each and every one of you listener donors. Click through for the prize line up!
Two weeks of extra great programming is coming up, with special guests, live music, and surprises - it's our Fall FUNdrive! With your support, we will raise $15K in just 15 days, from listeners near and far. New this year, we're adding matching donor support, where donations on certain days will be doubled! There are lots of fun goals to hit (and ring that cowbell) that you can be part of helping us reach. If you have yet to give to the station this year, this is a really fun way to do it. Learn more and how to give here.
No doubt listeners and especially Goddard alumni have heard the latest news about yet another failed sale of the Goddard campus. This continues to put the physical future of the station in a state of limbo, however, we remain fully committed to working with any future owner of campus, whomever that will be. We continue to also plan for other outcomes, including the possibility of a forced station move. Any extra funds we raise beyond our fundrive goal this fall will help us prepare for increased costs from eventual new ownership of campus that will be passed on to leasing entities like us.
We are watching with heavy hearts what has happened in the wake of Hurricane Helene across the South and mid-Atlantic. The FCC does not allow a community radio station to fundraise for any other entity, other than itself. However, we can share relief efforts and links via our website. Click through to this blog post for ways to help relief efforts in these areas.
